Celebrity chefs Todd English, Scott Conant, Ming Tsai, and Australian Chef Curtis Stone are mixing things up at the first Enjoy Arts and Tastes St. Petersburg food, wine and arts festival along with Ace of Cakes’ Duff Goldman, renowned glass artist Duncan McClellan, and other celebrity chefs. Meant to be more intimate than other festivals such as the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen or the Food Network’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival, the event gives celebrity chefs and personalities the opportunity to show off their talent and share their creations with the audience on a more personal level.
These chef personalities know the recipe for success and were ready to show off their skills in the kitchen through demonstrations and special events. Duncan McClellan hosted a sold-out Sense Immersion dinner on Friday night with Todd English at the Museum of Fine Arts while other chefs looked forward to the “Battle of the ‘Burg” which was the festival’s crowning event on Sunday night. This exciting battle was hosted by Iron Chef Judge and award winning restaurateur Donatella Arpaia. Home Shopping Network (HSN) collaborated with the Edwards Group and Visit St. Pete Clearwater to organize the event, so of course HSN CEO Mindy Grossman was in attendance. Other exciting events include a Sip Savor and Swing dinner, hosted by the Cooking Channel’s Ingrid Hoffman and a VIP party at the HSN headquarters. Combining art and displays such as the artistic cake creation of Duff Goldman, the festival incorporates multiple elements and offers much more than simply a food and wine festival.
