What are you plans for this weekend? If you’ve battled the ice and snow on the East Coast this week we know you’re ready for some warmer weather! An evening on Miami Beach complete with good wine and surf and turf on the water with Food Network star Amanda Freitag perhaps? This will be real life for some of the guests this weekend at The Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival (SOBEWFF). The festival will be a smorgasbord of good eats, great wine and famous Celebrity Chef personalities hosting VIP sponsored events, cooking demonstrations and other celebrity chef appearances.

The SOBEWFF has built its reputation as one of the best food festivals in North America thanks in part to their long guest list of familiar Celebrity Chefs from the Food Network and the Cooking Channel. Want to make your next corporate function, event or fundraiser an overwhelming success like the SOBEWFF? Hire a Celebrity Chef. People like mingling with celebrities. Event planners and companies looking to entertain guests at upcoming company functions – take notes!

The annual culinary celebration kicked off with events beginning Thursday evening. Mastercard sponsored an Italian feast on the beach to kick off the evening hosted by Debi Mazar and her husband Gabriele Corcos. The 7 o’clock hour was a mixture of different cuisines and dinner themes with celebrity chef appearances from the likes of Michael Mina, Anne Burrell, Michael Voltaggio, and Scott Conant. These reputable names in the kitchen were hired to act as celebrity chef hosts to entertain guests with carefully crafted menus and cooking demonstrations.

Celebrity Chef Jose Andres started the day bright and early on Friday with his annual 9-Hole Celebrity Golf Tournament. Friday will also boast events hosted by celebrity chefs such as Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, the ever-adventurous Andrew Zimmern, Marcus Samuelsson, and Rachael Ray. Pastry Chef Duff Goldman is one of a few Celebrity Chefs who will be making their way to the biggest event of the night, The Amstel Light Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray.

Saturday is the meat and potatoes of the festival with a majority of the most popular events taking place throughout the day. Miami native Michelle Bernstein will be hosting her own luncheon with friends while the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village will be crawling with familiar faces making celebrity chef appearances at tasting tents and cooking demonstrations. Some of the Celebrity Chefs on hand providing 45-minute culinary demonstrations and signing cookbooks will be Giada De Laurentiis, Carla Hall, Bethenny Frankel, Geoffrey Zakarian and Guy Fieri. Talk about some serious star power in the kitchen!

Sunday will welcome guests back to the Grand Tasting Market for more exciting demonstrations on stage from Bobby Flay, The Deen Family, and actress turned food blogger Haylie Duff. Another familiar TV star making her SOBEWFF debut is Tiffani Thiessen aka Kelly Kapowski from the cult classic series Saved By The Bell. She has her own successful show on the Cooking Channel now and has impressed with her original recipes.

It would be impossible for many event planners to generate this type of event with as many demonstrations and celebrity chef appearances as the SOBEWFF. So now your job is to pinpoint one of the great events that will be taking place over this weekend and replicate it at your event in the coming months. Celebrity Chef Network has helped many companies hire a famous chef including the big name personalities that will be at the SOBEWFF this weekend.
