BIO: Chef and owner of CulinAriane in Montclair, NJ, Ariane Duarte was first inspired to cook as a young child after cooking with her grandmothers. Ariane Duarte graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and began working at many of the best restaurants in the country before her and her husband, Michael, decided to open CulinAriane. Ariane’s husband is also the pastry chef and 18 years ago the two opened the restaurant.
Ariane and fellow Top Chef contestant Carla Hall and CHOPPED contestant Amanda Freitag will be featured in a dinner to benefit Big Louises Kids to help combat childhood obesity. Ariane Duarte was a contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef season 5 and is available for speaking engagements, cooking demonstrations and corporate hospitality.
