Up and coming pastry chef, Cristine Patolot, made her grand entrance into the world of celebrity when she was invited to be the sole pastry chef for the Dancing With The Stars Season 18 official wrap up party. Prior to this honor, the celebrity chef speaker began her work as a pastry chef studying at the internationally renowned French Pastry School of Chicago where she learned all the tricks of the trade. After her schooling, she worked at Macy’s Culinary Kitchen and started her own specialty cake business, Cristine’s Fine Pastries.
Chef Patolot’s talent in the bakery did not go unnoticed, as she was one of the few selected to assist the famed chocolatier Thomas Haas at the World Pastry Forum, an international competition held every two years and aired by Food Network. She was also invited to study under renowned cake designers, and Food Network judges, Nicholas Lodge, Colette Peters, and Kerry Vincent. In 2008, Cristine established French Cakes Patisserie, a classic Parisian-style bakery, where she quickly became known for her intricate, elegant, and most importantly delicious, French Style desserts. Located in Plainfield, just outside of Chicago, the bakery has become a hot spot for tourists and locals looking for a bite to satisfy their sweet tooth. 2014 was a huge year for the pastry chef when she got the call requesting her expertise for the Dancing With The Stars wrap up party dessert. In the company of several Top Chefs and Master Chefs who were also helping cook for the event, chef Patolot did not fail to impress some of Hollywood’s most elite with her masterpiece of a dessert. In just two days she was able to create a replica of the show’s dance floor, with three-tiered audience, out of 700 cupcakes. The impressive cupcake tower can be seen featured on TMZ, as the paparazzi were all over the event snapping pictures of celebrities enjoying the accomplished chef’s creation.
