Celebrity Chef Speaker Melissa d’Arabian is well-known as the season five winner of the Next Food Network Star on the Food Network. Melissa won over the judges and America and won her the opportunity to start her own show on the Food Network. As a wife and stay at home mom to four daughters, Melissa knows the importance of home cooking which she shows on her daytime cooking series, Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d’Arabian. Her show promises, tasty recipes for $10: four people, ten bucks, infinite possibilities.
After graduating from the University of Vermont, she spent a year on the entertainment staff of two cruise lines before she went to earn her MBA from Georgetown University. She began her professional career in consulting and eventually worked in corporate finance at Disney in Burbank, California and in merchandise finance at Euro Disney near Paris.
Melissa d’Arabian spends much of her time volunteering and giving back to organizations and is on the Executive Program Advisory Board of Act One, Inc., a non-profit organization founded to help Christians of all denominations for careers in the film and television industry.
