BIO: Beginning his culinary journey at 15 years old, with an apprenticeship at the Hyatt in Melbourne under Roger Leinhard, Shannon Bennett continued his career to Europe cooking with Albert Roux, John Burton and Marco Pierre White.

In 2000, Shannon opened Vue de monde in Carlton and soon after, opened the current location in Melbourne. His classic French cuisines with a modern Australian setting, is evident in his cooking. Vue de monde was awarded the Restaurant of the Year by the Australian Gourmet Traveler in 2006 and 2007. His next restaurant, Café Vue and Bistro Vue were both opened in 2006, and by 2009 Shannon Bennett opened his second location of Café Vue, and the third was opened right outside of Melbourne.

An established cookbook author, Shannon Bennett released his second edition of his first book, My Vue in 2007, My French Vue also in 2007 and Shannon Bennett’s Pairs in 2009. Shannon continues to evolve Vue de monde and renovate the restaurant into a more environmentally sustainable building. He plans to have it run off solar, wind power, and other eco-conscious innovations. Shannon Bennett is passionate about fighting obesity in today’s society, and runs every day to stay in shape and keep off the extra pounds from his daily eating habits. BIO:  Robin has been a food writer and nutritionist since 1990 and is the author of the bestselling cookbook “Quick Fix Meals”.  Her popular show, “Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller” currently airs on Food Network.  Her prime time show, “Robin to the Rescue” premiered on Food Network in March 2007.

Robin’s recipes and nutrition features can be seen regularly in a variety of magazines, including Clean Eating, Experience Life, Guideposts, Cooking Light, Health, Fitness, Fit Pregnancy, Woman’s World, and Parade.

BIO: Chef Nate Appleman attended the Culinary Institute of America before he began his internship at Cincinnati’s Maisonette under Chef Jean Robert de Cavel. By 1999 he was working at Brasa in Seattle and started growing a passion for butchery and curing. For the next six months, he lived in Florence, Italy sampling the rustic, local dishes and learning the art of salumi and gaining a deep appreciation for the region’s cuisine and ingredients.

Upon Nate’s return to the States, he began overseeing the meat station at Campton Place under Laurent Manrique. Soon, renovations closed Campton Place so Nate Appleman was moved to Sylvan Portay at the Dining Room Ritz-Carlton before moving to Napa Valley to attend pastry school. In 2003 he was named Executive Sous Chef at a San Francisco restaurant called A16.

He eventually was named Chef de Cuisine and part-owner of A16 and earned certification by the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association—one of the few certified pizzaiolos in the U.S.

Nate Appleman then made a surprise move to the Mexican chain, Chipotle and can be seen working the line at the Manhattan test kitchen in Chelsea. Nate Appleman made an appearance on Chopped All-Stars on the Food Network, was named Rising Star Chef from the James Beard Association and is available for speaking engagements, cooking demonstrations and hosting.

BIO: Celebrity Chef Marc Anthony Bynum was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
