Suzanne Tracht

Chef Suzanne Tracht has known she wanted to be a chef since she was a teenager.  She worked alongside many famous chefs for years before pursuing her dreams of opening her own restaurant in 2001 when she opened Jar, a steakhouse in Los Angeles. What sets Jar apart from other steakhouses is the way it bases its menu on the seasons, which most traditional steakhouses do not. In 2002, Food and Wine magazine named Celebrity Chef Tracht as one of the Best New Chefs of the year. In addition, Jar has been named among Los Angeles’ top 75 restaurants by Los Angeles magazine’s restaurant issue several times.

In 2007, Chef Tracht opened her second restaurant, Tracht’s, at the Renaissance Hotel Long Beach. In addition to receiving remarkable reviews in the Los Angeles Times and Orange County Register, Tracht’s was named among the top new restaurants in 2007 by Citysearch. That same year, Suzanne Tracht was inducted into the Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation’s Restaurant News.

Celebrity Chef, cooking teacher and award winning author Tori Ritchie began her cooking career at Tante Marie’s Cooking School in San Francisco. Since the beginning of her career, Celebrity Chef Tori Ritchie has written dozens of cookbooks, including International Association of Culinary Professionals Award-winning Light and Healthy Cookbook.  Other cookbooks Ritchie has written include: Pressure Cooker Cookbook, Braises & Stews and Party Appetizers.  She has also edited many cookbooks, including the James Beard Award-winning Entertaining series from Williams-Sonoma.  Ritchie currently writes a blog called Tuesday’s Recipe.

Celebrity Chef Tori Ritchie has also established herself as a well-known personality on television.  She was a host on the shows Ultimate Kitchens and Appetite for Adventure on Food Network, home of iconic celebrity chefs such as Bobby Flay and Rachael Ray. Ritchie co-hosted Appetite for Adventure with Celebrity Chef Joey Altman. She has also done appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Ainsley Harriot Show, and Home Cooking with Amy Coleman. In 2005, Celebrity Chef Tori Ritchie hosted the Five-Minute Cooking School series on CBS’s The Early Show alongside Hannah Storm.  Williams-Sonoma joined with The Early Show to produce this series.

When Celebrity Chef Tori Ritchie is not at home cooking, she teaches food writing classes at Stanford Continuing Studies, teaches cooking classes at the San Francisco Cooking School and volunteers for Food Runners, a nonprofit that delivers food to the needy.

Growing up in Washington D.C. being influenced by her father’s herb gardening while storytelling, and her mother’s kitchen narratives, Deborah has for a lifetime hones her craft towards the ultimate goal of becoming one of “America’s Cooking Sweetheart”.

Theatrically, Deborah trained and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University, considered continually by past and present day US presidents as one of the nations’ most esteemed learning institutions. To sharpen her culinary technique, Deborah went on to receive a degree from the world renowned Le Cordon Bleu School (Pasadena Campus).

Chef Deborah sojourned on to be chosen in the highly competitive internship program at the Food Network in New York; went on to be hired/booked as a personal chef to NBA great Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway of the New York Knicks, and now is the personal chef to A-list celebrities Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

As fate (and faith) would have it, Deborah returned to the Food Network, but this time as one of the eight competitors (Chosen out of a pool of ten thousand) for the televised prime time program “The Next Food Network Star”. In this highly touted chef’s competition, Deborah “fewelled” herself to first runner-up. She was later featured as a host for the one hour special “Surf and Turf” on the Food Network. With treatment projects being presented to her on a regular basis, Deborah is now in position to receive what she’s been working towards her whole life, which is to give voice, story and experiences to the meals she prepares for people who love to eat.

Fewell encourages people to utilize the kitchen to express their personality and culture through their dishes.  Simplicity with flair is how she is known to many and has made appearances on several shows including TLC’s Home Made Simple and featured on BET and in ESSENCE Magazine.

As a consultant chef for Air New Zealand and a guest chef aboard the Queen Mary 2 and Crystal Cruises and a culinary ambassador to New Zealand, Govind Armstrong has been busy traveling the world.
