Andy Ticer

Chef Andy Ticer dreamed of opening a restaurant and his dream were realized when he teamed up with fellow chef and friend Chef Michael Hudman in 2008. Their first restaurants, Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen and Hog and Hominy in Memphis, Tennessee, both made it onto the list of Southern Living Magazine’s 100 Places to Eat Now. They were also featured in GQ Magazine when Hog and Hominy was named as a Best New Restaurant of 2013.

Chef Andy’s American Southern-Italian style is derived from time spent under French Chef Jose Guitierrez, at Chez Philippe in Memphis, and also at the Italian Culinary Institute in Calabria, Italy. His time spent in Italy including living in Lyon, the food capitol of the world, and gave him a firm foundation of the true Italian culinary arts. Chef Andy and his skills have been recognized by the James Beard Foundation twice as a semi-finalist for Best Chef of the Southeast. He was also named by Food & Wine Magazine as one of the Best New Chef’s of 2013 alongside talented chefs such as Chef Danny Bowien, Chef Michael Voltaggio, and Chef Alex Stupak.

One of Chef Andy’s greatest accomplishments besides his two thriving restaurants is his cookbook with Chef Michael called Collards and Carbonara. Michael Hudman

Growing up in an Italian-American family sitting around large family dinners of classic Italian dishes inspired Chef Michael Hudman to become one of today’s up and coming American-Italian chefs. Food & Wine Magazine named Chef Michael along with his partner and friend Chef Andy Ticer both to the list of Best New Chefs in 2013. They were also semi-finalists two years in a row for the James Beard Foundations Best Chef of the Southeast.

Chef Michael and his friend Chef Andy both studied culinary arts at Chaz Philippe under French Chef Jose Guitierrez and spent time in Italy at the Italian Culinary Institute. Their time spent in Italy including the food capitol of the world Lyon, continues to have a heavy impact on their cooking style today. Lidia Bastianich

Lidia Bastianich is a best-selling cookbook author, television chef favorite, and owner of four New York City restaurants.  Her specialty is in Italian and American-Italian style cooking.  Bastianich is no stranger to the television scene.  She began lining up cooking shows in 1998 and makes regular appearances on numerous television networks.

Bastianich launched Lidia’s Italy in America in 2011; her fourth television series.  She launched the series through Tayola Productions; an entertainment company that produces high quality broadcast productions, of which Bastianich is both founder and president.  Bastianich and her daughter are now business partners and own several Italian restaurants including Felida, Esca, Becco and New York Times four-star award winning, Del Posto’s in New York.  She also owns restaurants in Pennsylvania and in Missouri; both are a version of Lidia’s and all serve her famous Italian cuisine.

BIO: After graduating first in his class at the French Culinary Institute, Chef Zakary Pelaccio worked at The French Laundry under Thomas Keller and at Daniel with Daniel Boulud.
