BIO: Celebrity Chef Chef Gale Gand is the executive pastry chef and partner of the four star Mobil, five-diamond AAA, Relais & Chateaux Relais-Gourmand restaurant Tru. In 2001, Gale was acknowledged as Outstanding Pastry Chef by The James Beard Foundation and Pastry Chef of the Year by Bon Appetite magazine, in 1994 was named Food and Wine’s Top Ten Best New Chefs. Gale studied at RIT and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts for American Craftsmen and attended culinary school at La Varenne in Paris. In 2006, Gale opened up a coffee shop called Gale’s Coffee Bar, also opening in the same year, Osteria di Tramonto, Tramonto’s Steak & Seafood and RT Lounge with Rick Tramonto. In Chicago, she opened up an upscale cupcake bakery.

Gale Gand was also the host of Food Network’s Sweet Dreams, which was Food Network’s first all-dessert show. She is the host of an online educational cooking series called, The Answered Chef. Gale’s current show, The Heirloom Recipe, airs on PBS. Gale has a long list of appearances including Martha Stewart, Oprah, Iron Chef America, the Today Show, Baking with Julia Child, and judged the Food Network’s Challenge and the 2008 season of Bravo’s Top Chef. Gale has seven cookbooks, her most recent, Gale Gand’s Brunch, which was released in spring of 2009. Gale also produces her own vanilla cream soda, and a root beer called Gale’s Root Beer with artisanal cinnamon, ginger and vanilla infused. At the USA House at the Beijing Olympics, Gale’s desserts were featured and Gale is an original member of the Macy’s Culinary Council.

Gale talked to Celebrity Baby Scoop about getting kids involved with the baking/cooking process, simple ways to stay eco-friendly, and her role as a mentor in Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative. Gale is a huge supporter of the Let’s Move project to help families become more active to live a happier and healthier lifestyle. Another supporter of Let’s Move is Dominique Dawes and NFL Quarterback Drew Brees.

BIO:  After graduating from Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Cyril Lignac began work at the Arpeggio then continued his training under Pierre Herme at Korova, Alain Ducasse at Grande Cascade and with the Pourcel brothers at the Maison Blanche.

In 2004 he ran la Suite in Paris and the following year Cyril Lignac opened his own restaurant in Paris; le Quinzieme Cuisine Attitude.

Cyril Lignac has been featured on many cooking shows on the French TV channel M6: Yes chef!, Chef, the recipe,  Live in canteen and Get Chef’d. He is also a successful cookbook author: Chef Generation, Chef 80 Recettes,Gourmands and a book for children called, Cyril Lignac & Small Chefs.

In 2007 Cyril published a bi-weekly magazine called Cook by Cyril Lignac and in this same year lent his voice to the French version of Ratatouille. His latest venture is a 1908 Parisian bar, the Chardenous which is registered as a French Monument historique.

BIO:  The only two Michelin stars in Brooklyn were awarded to Chef Cesar Ramirez and his restaurant, Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare Kitchen. Located in downtown Brooklyn is far from Cesar’s culinary path of Manhattan where he was once the Chef de Cuisine at Bouley.

Chef’s Table is not your normal restaurant; Brooklyn Fare Kitchen was just remodeled to accommodate 18 guests instead of 12 and is part of a grocery store in Brooklyn.
