Celebrity Chef Gregory Gourdet is best recognized as the runner-up on season 12 of Bravo’s Top Chef. His larger than life personality and signature Mohawk are reflective of his trendsetting cooking style and culinary expertise. He currently works as the executive chef at Departure, a pan-Asian restaurant located on the ninth floor of the Nines Hotel in downtown Portland. In 2015, Gregory was a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef Northwest. That same year he was a featured Keynote Speaker at the TedxPortland Conference. During his speech, he talked about overcoming his past struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and reinventing himself in the kitchen.

Gregory is a Queens, New York native who fell in love with the creative process of cooking during pre-med. He decided to attend the Culinary Institute of America and scored an internship at the revered Jean-Georges Restaurant in New York. It was there that he learned the cutting-edge techniques that would earn him Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine positions at the restaurant. Eventually his addiction got the best of him and he was forced to leave the restaurant.

He moved to Portland to look for new opportunities, but was still unable to reach his full potential thanks to his addiction. It was at that moment he realized he needed to make a change. He began taking the necessary steps to rebuild his life and set new goals for his life and career. Celebrity Chef Gregory Gourdet has now been clean since 2009. He began running marathons and competing in triathlons in addition to changing his diet. Gregory has carried this new healthy lifestyle with him into the Departure kitchen, offering guests a variety of gluten-free, vegan and paleo menu options.

Gregory was one of several featured Top Chef alums including Ash Fulk and Nina Compton chosen to provide cooking demonstrations and other interactive activities with passengers aboard Celebrity Cruises in the fall of 2015. He has also been featured in ad campaigns for Fiat.

Cheryl Forberg

Celebrity Chef Cheryl Forberg is a trusted nutritionist and James Beard Award-winning chef who is best recognized as the head nutritionist on NBC’s hit weight loss competition series The Biggest Loser since 2004. On the show, Cheryl helps teach the contestants about the importance of a healthy diet and shares her own cooking and nutrition tips to help the contestants maintain a healthy lifestyle long after their time on the show has ended. She has also been the lead author and/or co-wrote all of the New York Times bestselling Biggest Loser diet and exercise books. In August of 2015, American Pistachio Growers (APG) hired Celebrity Chef Cheryl Forberg as a new brand ambassador to educate consumers on the benefits of pistachios as a healthy snack.

After graduating from the California Culinary Academy, Cheryl worked abroad in France before returning to California to help open Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant Postrio in San Francisco. After several years spent in commercial kitchens, Cheryl began working as a private chef for Star Wars director George Lucas and his family. During this time she went back to school to dig deeper into the world of nutrition and proper dieting. Kerry Heffernan

Critically acclaimed restaurateur and Celebrity Chef Kerry Heffernan is a down-to-earth American food connoisseur with a love for the outdoors. His love for the outdoors has helped him to become a top seafood expert in today’s culinary landscape. In 2015, Kerry started a campaign called #SaveOurStripers that encouraged chefs in the NYC area to take striped bass off their menu to help resurrect the diminishing population.

Celebrity Chef Kerry Heffernan has an interesting story regarding how he actually got into the business. After high school, Kerry went on a biking trip through Europe and found a home in the South of France. Kerry was exposed to classical European cooking methods and began baking his own croissants. Kerry traveled back to the States and graduated second in his class at the Culinary Institute of America. After another trip to Europe, Kerry worked at renowned restaurants around NYC including Le Regence, Montrachet, and Mondrian. His first head position came as Chef de Cuisine at One Fifth Avenue. He also acts as an advisor to several other non-profits in charge of seafood sustainability and conservation. Lorraine Pascale

Celebrity Chef Lorraine Pascale enjoyed a career in modeling with designers such as Chanel, Versace and Donna Karan before realizing her dream to share creativity with others through food. Lorraine was the first British African American model to appear on the cover of the American edition of Elle magazine. Modeling gave Lorraine a starting point in her career but she wanted to find something that would sustain her professional career once her modeling days were over. She spent her free time taking courses on various industries including car mechanics and interior design. She fell in love with the culinary arts during a year-long cooking course at Leith’s School of Food & Wine.

Celebrity Chef Lorraine Pascale dove headfirst into the kitchen. Following her proper schooling, she began working in renowned eateries in the United Kingdom. She decided she wanted to create her own specialty cake company. She has since opened her own shop called Ella’s Bakehouse in London. In 2011, Celebrity Chef Lorraine Pascale introduced her first TV cooking series on BBC called Baking Made Easy. She would appear as the host of two more programs on the network called Home Cooking Made Easy and A Last Minute Christmas. In 2012, she debuted a series called Fast, Fresh and Easy Food.
