BIO: Simply put, Celebrity Chef Michael Lomonaco is American Cuisine. As he personally says, “Every great regional American dish has a story to tell. My goal is to celebrate the generosity and abundance of the American spirit with food that is equally bountiful, bold and filled with flavor.”

Since he began his culinary career at Le Cirque, where he worked with Chefs Alain Sailhac and Daniel Boulud, Chef Michael Lomonaco has been conjuring up bold and flavorful dishes using the highest quality ingredients. Lomonaco has spent time as head chef at The 21 Club, where he introduced a menu of bold flavors that redefined American cuisine. Next, he took a position as the executive chef of Windows on the World, a restaurant located on the 107th floor of the World Trade Centers. Critics and diners alike reveled in his dishes and Window’s quickly became on the country’s most beloved restaurants. The restaurant was destroyed in the September 11th attacks and many of its staff members were killed. Chef Lomonaco has rebounded from the tragedy with the opening of Porter House, which was named by Esquire magazine as one of “America’s Best New Restaurants” in 2006. Chef Lomonaco has left his mark all over the New York culinary scene, as he has worked at popular restaurants Wild Blue, Noche and Guastavino’s.

Chef Michael Lomonaco has also extended his culinary footprint into the television industry as host of the Travel Channel’s Epicurious. He hosted his own show, Michael’s Place, on Food Network, and has appeared on The Today Show, The David Letterman Show, Good Morning America, and PBS’ In Julia’s Kitchen with Master Chefs. Once an aspiring actor, Lomonaco’s performance chops have served him well in his professional culinary life.

Furthering his contributions to the cooking world, Lomonaco has published a number of cookbooks and devotes time many charitable causes. BIO: Celebrity Chef Michael Ginor is largely recognized for his work with Foie Gras, an ingredient considered one of the luxurious in the world. Chef Ginor is co-founder and Chef of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, the most comprehensive Foie Gras producer. Along with partner Izzy Yanay, Ginor was able to utilize scientific advanced production techniques to modernize the ancient delicacy. Foie Gras production is now a unified, controlled and consistent operation based on nature, nurture and technology.

Prior to becoming a chef, Michale Ginor graduated from Brandeis University and received his MBA from New York University. He spent four years on Wall Street and then decided to make a life-altering change. Ginor decided to join the Israeli Armed Forces where he served as a patrol-commanding Captain in the Gaza Strip and as the Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson. His time in Israel did help further his culinary career however as it was here that Ginor discovered the potential of modern-age Foie Gras processing. Today, Michael Ginor’s Hudson Valley Foie Gras distributes its duck products through a network of ditstributors in the United States and beyond.

Hudson Valley Foie Gras has received numerous awards of excellence since its inception. Some of these awards include the 1993 Gold Merit Award from Chefs in America, the 1996 Award for Excellence from The James Beard Foundation, a Five Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in 1996 and the 1998 Award of Excellence from the American Tasting Institute. Personally, Chef Michael Ginor was the first Olive Branch Award recipient from the Jewish National Fund for humanitarian and professional achievements in 1996, was honored with the 1997 Angel Award from The James Beard Foundation and in 1998 he received the American Master Taster Award from the American Tasting Institute. Both Ginor and his partner, Izzy Yanay, have been inducted into the James Beard Foundation Who’s Who of Food and Beverage.

In addition to his work at Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Chef Michale Ginor is also the founder of Culinary Brainwaves, a company that provides consulting to the gourmet food industry. BIO: With over 20 years of experience, Mark Dommen has had classical training with some of the world’s most renowned culinary masters.  With Mark’s modern twist on American cuisine, he moved to One Market in 2004 and eventually earned the restaurant a Michelin star for the fourth year in a row in 2011. He has also been named a 2007 StarChefs.com Rising Star and One Market held a constant occurrence on the Chronicle’s Top 100 restaurant list.

BIO: Marc Murphy grew up living in many different locations around the world, all to which he contributes to his excellent learning of French and Italian cuisine. This experience helped grow his love and passion for the world of cooking.

Marc followed his brother to Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School (now the Institute of Culinary Education), and apprenticed in restaurants all over France and Italy. He returned to New York and became the line cook at Terrance Brennan’s Prix Fixe where he stayed for almost 2 years and worked his way through every position in the kitchen. Here, he formed a bond with sous chef Joseph Fortunato and David Pasternak.

With his passion on his sleeve, he returned to Europe with the Michelin Red Guide in his hand and began knocking on the doors of Paris’ most elite restaurants. Finally, he received a position at Le Miraville. After one year, Marc Murphy staged at the Louis XV in Monte Carlo, and caught the attention of executive chef Alain Ducasse. Alain was so impressed with his skills that he made arrangement for Marc Murphy to work with Sylvain Portay at Le Cirque upon returning to the U.S.

After Le Cirque, he began work as the sous chef at Layla, Drew Nieporent’s Middle Eastern fantasy in TriBeCa. When Joe Baum was opening Cellar in the Sky at Windows on the World, Joe recruited Marc to serve as executive chef where he received two stars from the New York Times.

In 2004, Marc Murphy went solo to open Landmarc [Tribeca], and won rave reviews for its French and Italian menu and the highly contemporary wine list. He is now the executive chef and owner of all the restaurants in The Anvil NY Group, which include3s Landmarc and Ditch Plains. He is a regular judge on The Food Network’s hit, CHOPPED and has appeared on Iron Chef America, Hot Chefs, The Martha Stewart Show, Make My Day and The Today Show. Marc Murphy is the Vice President of the Manhattan chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association, a member of City Harvest’s Food Council and on the Advisory Board of Culintro, Passport NYC and the Institute of Culinary Education.
