Marcel Biro

German born celebrity chef, Marcel Biró, began his journey to become a world famous chef at the age of six when he began cooking with his chef father. At the age of 15 he entered culinary school, and at the age of 21 he was a European certified chef instructor. Chef Biró continued to speed through the ranks teaching culinary classes during the day and cooking at Michelin star restaurants at night, and by the age of 24, he set a new standard becoming the youngest chef in history to receive the title Master Chef de Cuisine. Prior to receiving the esteemed title, he had already enjoyed serving as chef to German Chancellor Helmut Kohl; however, the best was still yet to come for the young culinary talent.  In 2004, he became the first German to land a national television cooking show deal in the United States.  Chef Biró stars in the Emmy Award-wining PBS series with his wife Shannon Kring Biró, who is also a writer and executive producer for the show, which chronicles Chef Biró’s unique infusion of European and Asian flavors in his culinary masterpieces.  On top of his acclaimed television series, Biró is has co-authored cookbooks Biró: European-Inspired Cuisine, and Ó: SpanAsian Cuisine by Biró, and has been featured in several other media outlets throughout the world including NPR, SmartMoney Magazine, TV Guide, and The Wall Street Journal.  Marcel is also a successful entrepreneur, and serves as the CEO and chef of Biró Internationale, LLC, a company he runs with his wife Shannon, consisting of acclaimed restaurants, culinary schools, and how-to media content. Jim Coleman

Celebrity speaker, Jim Coleman, dubbed the spatula-wielding king of all media, is a pioneer in the new breed of chef/entrepreneurs in America today. Combining culinary skills with business, Chef Coleman is one of the few chefs to master all three forms of multi-media: television, radio and print.  First on Chef Coleman’s list of professions is his day job working as executive chef for the AAA Five-Diamond Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. Coleman has held this position with the hotel, known for hosting numerous celebrities, politicians, and special events, since 1992.  When he’s not cooking for A-listers at the Rittenhouse Hotel, Coleman can be found hosting his radio show A Chef’s Table, which broadcasts all over the country via National Public Radio, and features conversations with nationally recognized chefs, authors, and food personalities. What started as a local show, Flavors of Philadelphia, quickly became a national, Flavors of America, after just two seasons.  Currently Flavors of America airs in 40 million homes throughout the country.  In between his two shows and day job as a chef, Coleman has been able to become an accomplished author. Kevin Rathbun

Celebrity chef Kevin Rathbun owns some of the hottest restaurants in the country. But before he became a renowned chef, Rathbun worked as a dishwasher at the restaurant Sambo’s in Kansas City. Working his way through restaurants and up the ranks, Rathbun became a Chef at Baby Routh in Dallas, a DiRona award-winning restaurant. His display of culinary expertise at Baby Routh led him to become the chef at Nava, a hip restaurant in Atlanta where Chef Rathbun brought Southwestern cuisine to the Deep South. It didn’t take long for Nava to become a hit both locally and nationally. Nathalie Dupree

As the first woman since Julia Child to host more than 100 cooking episodes on public television, Nathalie Dupree has made a name for herself in the culinary industry. Jean-Christophe Novelli

Celebrity chef speaker Jean-Christophe Novelli got his start in France, before becoming an international sensation.  Chef Novelli left school at the age of 14 to work at a bakery and gain culinary experience. By the age of 20, he had become a personal chef to the Rothschilds, a family of Austrian nobility. Following his stint cooking for the Rothschild family, he moved to the United Kingdom and began working in various restaurants including the Chewton Glen Hotel in New Milton, Hampshire and Gordleton Mill in Lymington, Hampshire where he won his first Michelin Star as Chef Patron. This success led him to become head chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in London, before eventually opening up his own restaurant Maison Novelli in London. Following Maison Novelli, Chef Novelli continued opening restaurants throughout London, France, and South Africa, all receiving rave reviews. His most proud achievement, however, is the opening of the Novelli Academy, his own culinary school based in his Hertfordshire farmhouse. The Academy has been consistently voted one of the Top Cooking Academies in the World.  Chef Novelli’s culinary expertise has also garnered him the titles of “The Nation’s Favourite French Chef” and “European Chef of the Year.”

In addition to his renowned restaurants and cooking academy, Chef Novelli has become quite the TV personality.
