Chris became executive chef and co-owner of the restaurant and started by building a garden on the roof to create his own source of fresh, local ingredients. In 2010, Chris officially opened his first restaurant Deuxave in Boston and 3 years later he opened the urban steak bistro Boston Chops which was named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Steakhouses. 2013 was a coming out party for Chris when he was named to both Forbes and Zagat’s list of “30 Under 30” personalities as well as earning a nomination for The People’s Best New Chef in New England from Food & Wine Magazine. Ryan Scott
