BIO: Before Mike Isabella opened Graffiato in Washington DC, he was the executive chef of Jose Andres’ Zaytinya. During his time spent at Zaytinya’s, Mike gained enormous respect and national attention for the restaurants Mediterranean powerhouse cooking.

Mike Isabella began his training at The Restaurant School in New York, and while taking classes he was cooking his way through many of New York City’s most luxurious establishments. He eventually traveled down to the coast of Philadelphia first as a sous chef for James Beard award winner Douglas Rodriguez at Alma de Cuba, then a host at various Stephen Starr restaurants.

Learning the true craft of Latin cuisine at El Vez, Mike Isabella, learned under Jose Garces, and was the executive sous chef of Marcus Samuelsson’s Washington Square. Philadelphia proved to Mike that it was the right move, he had incredible learning experiences and it launched his name into the restaurant world. Still looking for his niche, he moved to Atlanta and teamed with the Buckhead Life Group’s top-notch Greek restaurant, Kyma. Soaking up the experience, he learned the techniques and flavors in Greek cooking, but he didn’t learn it any better than when he traveled through Greece. Trying to grasp the full understanding of Greek cooking, Mike spoke to locals and found his way through the daily markets. Mike Isabella recently appeared on season six of Bravo’s Top Chef and was runner up on Top Chef All-Stars. He is available for hosting, corporate appearances and speaking engagements.

BIO: Chef and owner of Quince, Michael Tusk, draws inspiration for his Italian cuisine from his local famers and growers throughout Northern California. After graduation from Tulane University, he enrolled himself in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Wanting to broaden his knowledge of French and Italian cuisine, Michael left for Europe and worked in numerous Michelin starred restaurants. While staying in Italy’s Barbaresco region, he developed his interest in Northern Italian regional cuisine.

In 1994, after returning to San Francisco he began working highly influential restaurants such as Stars, Oliveta and Chez Panisse and attributes much of his cooking success to Alice Waters and Paul Bertolli.

Michael Tusk and his wife Lindsay opened Quince restaurant in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood in 2003 and it quickly gained national and international attention. The following year, San Francisco Magazine named Michael Tusk Rising Star Chef and awarded Quince three stars. It has a one star Michelin rating and has very quickly become a restaurant known for his high quality and innovative cuisine. BIO: Celebrity Chef Michael Schlow is the Executive Chef and Owner of Radius, Via Matta and Alta Strada restaurants located in Boston. He is widely recognized as one of the leading chefs in the United States and has helped shaped the Boston restaurant scene.

Schlow moved to Boston from New York City in 1995 and opened the doors to Radius, his first restaurant, in 1999. Radius, which features Modern French cuisine, was soon hailed as the “Best Restaurant” in Boston and was recognized as one of the top “25 Best American Restaurants by Gourmet, “Best New Restaurant” by Food & Wine magazine and “Best New Restaurants in America” by Esquire. BIO: Celebrity Chef Michael Ginor is largely recognized for his work with Foie Gras, an ingredient considered one of the luxurious in the world. Chef Ginor is co-founder and Chef of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, the most comprehensive Foie Gras producer. Along with partner Izzy Yanay, Ginor was able to utilize scientific advanced production techniques to modernize the ancient delicacy. Foie Gras production is now a unified, controlled and consistent operation based on nature, nurture and technology.

Prior to becoming a chef, Michale Ginor graduated from Brandeis University and received his MBA from New York University. He spent four years on Wall Street and then decided to make a life-altering change. Ginor decided to join the Israeli Armed Forces where he served as a patrol-commanding Captain in the Gaza Strip and as the Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson. Some of these awards include the 1993 Gold Merit Award from Chefs in America, the 1996 Award for Excellence from The James Beard Foundation, a Five Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in 1996 and the 1998 Award of Excellence from the American Tasting Institute. Personally, Chef Michael Ginor was the first Olive Branch Award recipient from the Jewish National Fund for humanitarian and professional achievements in 1996, was honored with the 1997 Angel Award from The James Beard Foundation and in 1998 he received the American Master Taster Award from the American Tasting Institute. BIO: With over 20 years of experience, Mark Dommen has had classical training with some of the world’s most renowned culinary masters.  With Mark’s modern twist on American cuisine, he moved to One Market in 2004 and eventually earned the restaurant a Michelin star for the fourth year in a row in 2011. He has also been named a 2007 StarChefs.com Rising Star and One Market held a constant occurrence on the Chronicle’s Top 100 restaurant list.

Throughout the years, Mark Dommen has worked at some of the most prestigious restaurants and developed his seasonal American flare of cooking. He began his career at Fleur de Lys in San Francisco, where he met his mentor, Chef Hubert Keller. Spending four years in New York working with Gray Kunz at Lespinasse and David Burke at Park Avenue Café. He was then sous chef for Chef Jean-Louis Palladin at Palladin and where he immersed himself in the French cuisine. Next, he was invited to be in Julia’s Kitchen in Napa Valley as the opening executive chef and while here, he was named one of Esquire magazine’s Best New Restaurants.
